When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo. We store these to identify your account and personalize your experience. We also store the trips, itineraries, and preferences you create within the app.

We collect basic usage analytics (page views, feature interactions) to understand how the product is used and improve it.

2. How we use it

• To provide and operate the Same Somewhere service
• To remember your trips and preferences across sessions
• To send trip-related updates you request (invitations, shared itineraries)
• To improve the product based on aggregate usage patterns

3. What we don't do

• We do not sell your personal data to third parties
• We do not use your data to serve you ads
• We do not share your itinerary content with other users without your explicit action (e.g., accepting an invitation)

4. Third-party services

We use the following services to operate the product:

• Google OAuth — sign-in
• Google Maps / Places API — location data and place information
• Vercel — hosting and infrastructure
• Neon / PostgreSQL — database storage

Each service has its own privacy policy governing their use of data.

5. Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
